SMT Paste Mask Stencil Printer for Beginners? - PCB Libraries Forum

Greetings! This is my first experience of purchasing SMT printer but I am confused between the manual one and semi-automatic one. I found several SMT printers here https://neodenusa.com/smt-stencil-printers but I am not sure either should I go with manual and automated one. Though there is a difference between prices but I need advice to be more skilled as a beginner.

Actually, we only need to make 150 or less than 150 boards on daily basis that's why manual would also work for us. I also found this article little helpful in this regard https://www.ddmnovastar.com/smt-quick-tips-selecting-a-stencil-printer. However, I need complete guide about the prefer SMT printer brand, store etc.

Waiting for your suggestions.

I could not find this info on the websites.  What is the stencil thicknesses that you use? Do these Stencil Printers use laser technology? Are the aperture openings Rounded Rectangle? Do you have an internal assembly shop? Do you currently send out to a 3rd party your stencil creation?  We are only hiring the soldering company and yes, you can call them third party. They would work with us for this project only. You can call them third but we are using our own machinery.

Recommendation for Stencil Printer - Arduino Forum

Greetings!

Check now

I am new at this forum and I am looking to get information about the best manual stencil printers around $500. When I started searching it over the internet then most of AliExpress and other market sellers were Chinese or Indians. I am not saying anything about their country or quality but I am looking to buy it from a local or at least US or European manufacturer.

I also found {spammy link removed by moderator} stencil printer but its price is about $600 and I am looking for under $500 or maximum a $500 one. Can you guys give any suggestion in this regard?

On the other hand, I also found a variety of stencil printers at Alibaba & ManCorp but I am not sure which is would be good for medium-sized LED and PCB boards. Secondly, as we are going to purchase it as a company so we want to make sure it as a durable one-time investment.

Looking for your suggestions. You can also come with brand names.

My experience with Aliexpress / Alibaba has been a good one so far.
One thing I have noticed is that on many commercial products found there is they are exactly the same as many multinational brands.

Logos and colour schemes may vary slightly from the big names but the product has always been identical in the build.

Of course you simply do not pay the big brand prices with savings up to 40% in some cases.

Best way to verify that is to look at the pictures of the brand name ones and the clone.
Aliexpress etc. also include the specs which can also be compared.

Yes, I consider Alibaba and Aliexpress as a good option but heard some shipment delays. Also little afraid of Tariff increment due to trade war. Otherwise, they were pirority.

Not had any issues here in Canada, and have swapped mostly all my online buying to them.

Other things to consider is that some sellers have dropship ability so not all items are coming from the far east but may be in storage warehouse inside your country.

I find that shipping times are often faster than Ebay for the same seller and more options to choose different shipping methods too.

Of course AVOID DHL for shipping like they have Ebola as they are very bad at adding extra costs for this and that excuse.

Had single orders in excess of $1,000.00 from Aliexpress So if I trust them with that sort of money they would have to be safe.

Bob.
